The Office of International Affairs (Director: Kim Jeong-hoon) successfully held the “Welcome Ceremony and Early Adaptation Program” for new international students of the Spring 2026 semester on the 17th.
The event was attended by approximately 70 participants, including 19 newly admitted degree-seeking students, 25 exchange students, 12 Korean language trainees, as well as international student ambassadors and staff from the Office of International Affairs.
The program consisted of a variety of tailored activities essential for international students, including a welcome ceremony, university life orientation, campus tour, and early adaptation sessions. Participants had the opportunity to explore key campus facilities and receive information on various support programs, enhancing their understanding of university life ahead.
Director Kim Jeong-hoon stated, “I sincerely congratulate all new international students on joining our university. We will work together as a university community to provide full support so that students can settle in smoothly and focus on their academic pursuits.”
Meanwhile, following this welcome event, the Office of International Affairs plans to offer a range of extracurricular programs for international students, including Korean culture experiences, field trips, and Korean language tutoring. These initiatives aim to foster active interaction between international and domestic students and help cultivate future global leaders.
