Institute of International Affairs(President Jung Dae) of Korea Maritime and Ocean University(KMOU) held the opening ceremony for 2018 KMOU International Summer School at BPA Convention Hall of KMOU early the 23rd of July, 2018.

KMOU International Summer School is participated by merit students from overseas sister universities with which KMOU signed agreements for international academic exchange. The program is operated for 2 weeks from July 23 to August 3, 2018. A total of 50 students from 11 universities of 6 countries including Russia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, China and Denmark will join the summer school.

During the summer school, KMOU will provide various lectures and courses including Korean language, shipping management, Korean traditional sport Taekwondo and K-pop dance along with activities for Korean culture, marine leisure sports and field trips to marine companies and research institutes. With these activities, the summer school will provide a global marine specialized education to participating students.
