Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU) signed an International Academic Exchange Agreement with RANACO Education and Training Institute (RETI) on May 8.
The signing ceremony had many officials from the two parties in attendance including Park Han-il, President of KMOU and Ahmad Firdhaus Ramlan, CEO of RETI. In particular, the participation of Abdullah Yusuff Basiron, Under Secretary (responsible for the shipping field) of the Transport Ministry in Malaysia and Cho Seung-hwan, Administrator of Busan Regional Office of Oceans and Fisheries made the ceremony more a meaningful event.
Based on the Agreement, the two institutions are scheduled to establish a strong cooperative system for exchange of faculty members and students, joint research programs and academic information exchanges.
