A Center for International Affairs (Director: Ryu Dong-geun) held a special lecture at the building of International Studies College (Room No. 439) on April 10, delivered by a great scholar.

Under the theme of “CHANGING SHIPPING FUNDAMENTAL: Dealing with uncertainty,“ Helen A. Thanopoulou, professor of Shipping Trade and Transport Department in the University of the Agean, Greece, was visited for the lecture.

During her visit, prof. Thanopoulou met with Park Han-il, President of KMOU to discuss detailed policies for academic exchanges and other cooperative programs between the two universities.

The University of the Aegean, established in 1984, is a research-centered university with a public network among six islands in the Aegean Sea.
