Fifteen students from World Maritime University (WMU) visited Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU) on April 3 to look around the maritime education system/infrastructure and share information on the field.

On that day, an event was held to welcome them at Convention Hall of Centers for International Affairs; delivering a welcoming speech by Prof. Lee Yun-cheol, Dean of the College of Maritime Sciences, preparing a video clip to promote KMOU, and making a presentation on the maritime education system of KMOU by Prof. Park Jin-soo, Chief of Global Maritime Education Training Support Center.

The delegation of WMU consisted of the world’s experts in the maritime field. Meamwhile, WMU, located at Malmö in Sweden, established in 1983 by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a specialized agency of the United Nations, to nurture maritime leaders.
