This year’s symposium had a total of 49 ideas from 76 people—38 professors and students from 7 Japanese universities and 2 Chinese universities, and 38 professors and students from Korea Maritime and Ocean University, Tongmyeong University and Dong-eui Institute of Technology. They shared various ideas and made presentations on their research results.
In its first participation in the IJSEE, professor Ha Jin-cheol from Dari University in China opened the 6th symposium with an introduction to China’s process for finding creative ideas and promoting innovation under the theme of “Innovative Idea and Global Communication Roadmap.” And then, various ideas and research results were shared from Asian universities.
In addition, Professor Kim Yun-Hae made a presentation on exemplary cases of Idea Factory with the theme of Idea Factory in KMOU, boasting great outcomes of Idea Factory. He also said, “This symposium can be a good opportunity for participants to promote global communication skill, problem-solving capacity, and creative ideas by inviting professors and students and sharing great ideas and study results. And, I hope that the event can contribute to a higher status of Korea Maritime and Ocean University in the Asian region.”
