On June 20, KMOU concluded a MOU on academic cooperation in the filed of maritime education and ocean reserach with "International Maritime University of Panama(UMIP)".
The MOU was signed by Yun-Hae KIM, Acting President of KMOU and Fernanda Billard, President-Principal of UMIP while concerned people attended, especially including H.E. Ruben Arosemena, Ambassador of Panama to the Republic of Korea.
Taking this opportunity, KMOU is planning to accept two cadets of UMIP for on-board training program at the T/S HANBADA during the fall semester, 2016. For more details, both universities agree to make a seperate agreement soon.
After the signing ceremony, the Panama delegation had a chacne to board on the T/S HANBADA and visit her bridge.
